Neil Diamond nabs the first No. 1 of his career as "Home Before Dark" bows atop the Billboard 200. The set's 146,000 start is Diamond's best debut sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. Last week's chart-topper, Madonna's "Hard Candy," slides to No. 3 in its second week with a 66% decline.
