Denny's Adopts Allison For Cross-Promotion
August 27, 2008 - Latin

By Ayala Ben-Yehuda, L.A.

Mexican pop-punk group Allison has been “adopted” by Denny’s for the restaurant chain’s “Adopt-a-Band” program, in which acts can eat at Denny’s for free while on the road.

As part of the program, acts have their tour dates posted and stream a song at dennysallnighter.com". Groups are expected to visit three Denny’s a month and post pictures of themselves at the restaurant on their Web sites. They also do in-restaurant after-parties after their concerts.

In late July, Allison signed autographs at Denny's locations in Hollywood, Long Beach and San Diego, Calif. The band recently played some dates in Puerto Rico and has shows coming up in central America and Los Angeles.

Other “adopted” groups so far include Katy Perry, Metro Station, From First to Last and Saving Abel.
