Celedon, Zambrano Plan U.S. Outing
August 28, 2008 - Touring

By Leila Cobo, Miami

Colombian vallenato stars Jorge Celedón and Jimmy Zambrano will kick off their first major U.S. tour with an October 3 show at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami. The pair will play a total of 19 cities as part of their "Qué Bonita Es Esta Vida" tour (named for their hit song) with stops in nightclubs and theaters, including House of Blues in Chicago, San Diego, Orlando, Anaheim and Las Vegas.

The tour is being produced by Day 1 Entertainment, the artist development arm of Sony BMG, Celedón and Zambrano's label.

The "Que Bonita Es Esta Vida" may be the first major tour for a traditional vallenato act in the United States.

Celedón and Zambrano won the Latin Grammy in 2007 for Best vallenato-cumbia album.
