Mexican Singer Roberto Cantoral Dies At 75

Mexican singer/songwriter Roberto Cantoral, author of some of the most beloved ballads in the Latin American songbook, was buried Aug. 8 in Mexico City.

Cantoral, 75, who died Aug. 7 from a heart attack, penned an enormous roster of much-recorded songs, including "El Reloj," "La Barca," and "El Triste," most recently recorded by Marc Anthony in his chart-topping album "Iconos."
