Scouting For Girls Partners With Nestle For 3D Content

U.K. pop-rock act Scouting For Girls has partnered with confectionary giant Nestle for a series of live performances and 3D promos to be broadcast online.

The limited-period promotion will see a number of Nestle Kit Kat bars branded with a unique 'augmented reality' marker, which when held in front of a user's webcam will enable consumers to experience an interactive 3D live performance from the British band via www.kitkat.co.uk/musicbreak.

Nestle has also partnered with MySpace to stream four live gigs by the band, who hit No. 2 in the U.K. albums chart earlier this year with its sophomore studio set "Everybody Wants To Be On TV" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment). A spokesperson for the band was unable to confirm when the gigs were due to take place.

In a statement, Scouting for Girls singer Roy Stride said: "We had a lot of fun making the augmented reality gig film and hope our fans enjoy a fun, new way of interacting with our music."
